As much as I'd want to talk more about inequality, but because of the Vol 7 spoiler pic, I just can't stop dreaming about it when my heart melted. I gotta say, it's weird that I could be among the few who thinks Ichinose/Honami is possibly the most compatible for him.

Beside being as effective replacement of Kushida, I actually see the similarities in between them. One of it is both mutually share the obligations to help people around to contribute a better society in the reality world of injustice, even though Akanokouji is probably doing it for a different reason - namely redemption & clearing his hollow past that's not worth remembering it nor talking about it.

Anyway, continuing about inequality, this seems to be an existentialism question. Humans are born differently & don't born equally, but this makes us mankind unique in terms of diversity in skills, talents, philosophies etc. leading to the importance of collective contributions to develop a civilization.

It's not really unusual for studios to put a random side story in the middle of an anime despite being out of order. They might go back to vol 3 and 4 for the remaining 5 episodes after if this is 12 episodes

Hmm maybe but I don't think the anime will adapt vol 3 & 4 because the special test that happened in vol 3 began before the summer vacation and if you read the PV:

because if I predicted, anime will adapt until vol 4 if each vol adapt into three episode, so there's only 13 episode. Except if Lerce make it into 20+ episode.

I think the last 6 episodes of the anime will be from volume 5 and 6 because the already skip volume 3 to 4.5

That's totally true and if they picked another SS, I wouldn't have minded it. The problem is the SS they chose to adapt has continuations to several plotlines from Vol 3 and 4.

I just want to watch those last scenes from that SS, but it will probably not be animated due to them skipping.

Exactly, its like a breather episode since we just finished a major arc, its an inbetween, they can go back to vol 3 and 4 after 4.5's swimming ep.
