-Miyuki vs the duo for training. Miyuki curbstomps them, as usual
-general strategy, Shizuku reinforces their pillars, while Kanon breaks opponents' down. Kanon's spell doesn't discriminate between those in range however, so Tats suggested Shizuku to focus only on defending the last 4 in the back row.
-Tatsuya is Shizuku's tech support this year as well. Kanon has Isori.
Tats' work this year includes: both single & double Ice Pillar Break, females Rower & Gunner double, male single Shield Down, 1st year Rower & Gunner male single, 1st year female Shield Down, all Mirage Bat, all Monolith Code, female steeplechase. 10 competitions, 11 competitors, the heaviest engineer workload in 1st high O_o
-At 9SC, it's 'picking on George' time again
It mentions a bit more about how Tats decoded the Invisible Bullet CAD code, that the Cardinal Code within it wasn't limited to sniper shots. George camouflaged the coding likely on advice of the research centre he belonged to.
George figured out why Shizuku only reinforced the back row when last year she reinforced the entire 12 pillars, and adjusted their plans accordingly. Didn't help though
This was the day before George has his R&G event too.
Tats had Shizuku change strategy against 3rd high, having her protect 6 pillars instead of only 4. Shizuku also got a Photon Maser CAD again, for the purpose of taking care of any tricks 3rd high pull out.
It was a close match, and as Tats expected at the end 3rd High pulled out a trick; a pillar doesn't count as gone if it's still connected to the ground, so 3rd high kept one corner on the last pillar to narrowly avoid defeat. And as a point, Kanon's vibration earthquake spell doesn't affect it as much. However Shizuku pulled out the Maser and shot the corner
At the end George ran out of the tent after Masaki tried awkwardly to reassure George he didn't do anything wrong
While 3rd High still lead the competition by 100 pts at 3rd day in, many people thought 1st High's win here was the start of their counterattack on the last day.
