i expected hidden intentions, but telling such a lame excuse...it can be said that yotsuba is almost already consist of consanguineous marriage, and they are all strong as a mental magicians.

If that's the case then maybe one way of resolving this is for Tatsuya to show everyone how powerful he really is. Tatsuya eliminating most of the enemies who are going to attack the 10 MC conference might be a good way to prove that.

They are not, they do like the other clans, MI magic or warped magic are the abilities they can get randomly, Tatsurou was not even from the 28 families. Consanguineous marriage is not good for the health of magicians but Miyuki is modified.

Cousin marriage is still consanguineous, less risky than siblings marriage but it's consanguineous nonetheless, they don't know that Miyuki's genes have been altered.

Here's the problem about that guy...The Ichijou's lifestyle is wholly different compare to the Yotsuba's lifestyle.

The Ichijou has a lifestyle of honorable soldiers.

The Yotsuba's has a lifestyle of assassins.

Masaki won't be able to live properly within the Yotsuba,,,

Legality is not the problem, the risk is for the health of the offspring is. From a magician POV, nothing guarantees that the offspring will be healthy.

Hello, Masaki barely knows Miyuki and hasn't spoken a full paragraph to her.

Suffice to say, Miyuki practically doesn't care for the guy and would sooner used Cocytus on him even before entertaining the notion of cancelling her engagement with Tatsuya.

Well, it's legal in Japan and my country too, at least we don't see it as such a taboo here. My mother's cousins family (my mother generations though) all married cousin with cousin; none of them have any issue with their childrens. It might have risk but it's very very small.

despite having opposite personalities and not being close friends with ichijou's father, there is no hostility between him and Koichi (he would never make such a big gamble just for some youths romance). it is said that he is not surprised by maya's revelations as he already knew about miyuki's feats during the first 9sc and yokohama arcs as well as tatsuya's decomposition and restoration magic skills, he also suspected that he was the magician responsible of scorched halloween. he also thinks that with miyuki and tatsuya as their pillars, nobody would be able to oppose the yotsuba among the other 10 master clans and the other top 18 families

This is just my opinion, but Koichi's line could mean that Tatsuya just became an eligible fiance for Mayumi. They are going to try and get him away from the Yotsuba.

Yes, that's right if the object of their crush is either Tatsuya or Miyuki. That's why that 'love conquers all' can't work We at least got Miki x Mizuki pair for the happy ending couple for now.
