I know many people prefer Harem Ends because it gets all shippers happy, all girls get happy with the MC, and the likes.
But I usually take such endings as a whole can of worms ready to burst in the future.
Even if it's a fictional story, I simply can't see things going well to the MC and the Harem (especially if it's a BIG one) in the future.

I mean, how many harem anime, light novel, manga gets a true harem end? Its rare.

Not that rare actually, in fact, it's actually more normal in case of LN, just that not many of them are actually get translated and hyped enough, Manga is indeed rare though.
