@BladeMancer: She has my condolences. I feel bad for her.

@Kanon: Good to hear that he isn't annoying. I hope he's a likeable character in the manga as well (I also like him in the anime).

I think he was referring to the newest dbs manga chapter where the monsters in U11 are extremely powerful that only Jiren can beat them.

If the manga is showing the truths that the anime doesn't, then yeah, this means that the reason Jiren called Hit's pride as an assassin worthless is really because he doesn't like killing. A confirmation in the anime would be good, though.

Goku is apparently a God of Destruction candidate in the manga, though, if his conversation with Toppo is any indication, and in the anime he even did something that a God of Destruction can't easily do. But you wouldn't say he suits the position either, would you?

This is so sad. The manga actually gives more information than the anime. You would think the anime would explain these things in greater detail like Jiren's motives or his last instead of wasting time with pointless fillers. This one of the reasons why I prefer the manga over the anime.

^True, I enjoy the Zamasu fight in the manga way more than the anime version. But still, it would be great if the guy who drew Dragon Ball AF fanfic was the artist for this manga. The art would be much better.

^There are 2 Dragon Ball AF version iirc. One has great art style while the other sucks.

Why would you assuming we won't learn about Jiren in the anime? ToP is still running. Maybe Toei just shed about his past during Goku Vs Jiren for 2nd time or maybe Toei will dedicated entire entire for Jiren after the ToP is over.

Going by that pic, Super Saiyan 4 and Goku turning back into a kid were things that happened in DBAF (and later got put into DBGT)? And the white-haired Goku must be Super Saiyan 5.

I read a comment on Gogoanime.com that Toyotaro or Toriyama might be wanting to bring back the Saiyans' tails. I wonder if it's true. I want to see Goku and Vegeta get something like a Super Oozaru form (Oozaru turned Super Saiyan) so I hope it's true. If Goku can learn to control himself in his Oozaru form, that'd be good.

Jiren refuses to kill anybody, even evil criminals. He initially refuses to participate in the tournament because he doesn't want to destroy other Universes and leave his own Universe without protection in the meantime. He eventually accepts to participate on the condition he'll be brought back to U11 immediately if some problem arises. It seems he has a wish he wants granted too. This explains why Toppo is the GoD candidate rather than the stronger Jiren. Jiren isn't suited to the job at all. He gives off a completely different vibe from anime Jiren. In the anime, it's hard to even tell whether he's a good or a bad guy since he only ever talks when he finishes off his opponents. Thinking back, him saying Hit's pride as an assassin is worthless takes on a deeper meaning now, given that he seems to despise killing. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. __________________
