Well you probably mean their disciples, the Chiba clan is more well-know for training, not serving the front lines if I recall correctly.

check, Miyuki pretty much hold court over the school and all incoming freshmen are in awe of her, outside the main story line the one that got no ink is Leo? the one who got some extra write up is Erika, now described as the second or third prettiest girl in school (nobody is #1 except Miyuki of course,) and famous after Yokohama as “Chiba’s secret weapon”. (since her dad doesn't want to talk about her,) to the point Yaguruma wants to become her student just from meeting her on an impulse,

some of the freshmen who are into magic engineering, instead of applied to technical famous 4th high, enrolled in 1st high instead because of Tatsuya, Tatsuya of course are handpicked to do the thesis contest later this fall.

the name of the arc is "prologue" to disturbance, not WWIV, Tatsuya's specific order was to neutralize the magic activated on that ship and even had to avoid sinking the ship, so what you are looking for is not in this book, may be later?

? she is alive and well, not marry, just about the same, like I say, the book is short, it mainly intro new characters and set up a new attack ring (US, USSR, China, Japan) forming against Tatsuya, hardly any old characters gets any developments not central to the main story line except Erika.

I did not read it carefully word by word, but I still don't recall Leo's name being mentioned anywhere in the book.

Yugumura got tired of waiting, set up a listening spell trying to penetrated student council room with Shina inside, of course was caught by Tatsuya, and even Tatsuya sees something in Yugumura just like Erika, had to subdue him twice to the point of putting him to sleep.

Spoiler for reason New Soviet attacking Japan:

Dr. Bezobrazzof met with another New Soviet SCM (Condrachenko) to discuss the possibility involvement of New Soviet Anti-Govt and Romania secret agent the "Dracula" for riot in New Soviet yesterday.
Bezobrazzof thought of possibility usage of MI magic to their common soldiers and inciting a scare to them for magician army.
The notion immediately rejected by Condrachenko, because he already thought the same thing and already checked all soldiers and the result were nil.

The scare that common soldiers have was the losing their position in army due to magician hence they rioted.

Dr. Bezobrazzof said it wouldn't possible to rely in magicians alone in army so the thought was baseless. Condrachenko said it's understandable since those soldiers haven't been in battlefield so they wont know it.

Dr. Bezobrazzof proposed to give them experience of battlefield and decided the target was Japan. Before parting, he shared some intelligence to Condrachenko about Japan's and GAA's army (temp) alliance to capture GAA army deserters.

A summary of chapter 5 is out on the wiki. Things are getting worse. Tatsuya's been isolated thanks to that bastard Saegusa. Even Edward thinks they're stupid and he's no friend.

1. If they wanted a forceful intimidating stature they could have suggested it be Tatsuya or Ichijou or himself since he is a lot mature than the kids are.
2. Or they just need the Yotsuba name to intimidate? Could be why they chose the heir of the said clan? Well, that could mean that the Saegusa heir admits that the Yotsuba is much more influencial than his clan.

If the new kid shiina plans to be a spy against Miyuki and Tatsuya, she's on a very dangerous situation.

PS. Can anyone tell me what relation does the Chiba clan have with the Yotsuba?

This guy's no Koichi, but his motive may be to isolate the Yotsuba to regain the trust of the 10MC.
