Exactly. With the assumption of the project being another spin-off series, they should win. That way, dramatic phone calls the manga can be serialized.

Sadly, apparently it works like this. If you delete cookies and then try 15/20 minutes later it'll work... so they didn't stop anything. They just reduced the # of votes, not the actual cheating...

Just a theory :

So they keep the IP address (that is why deleting cookie won't work), but they don't have enough memory space to keep thousands of people's IP, and thus they only keep it for a certain period of time (15/20 minutes?)

Or maybe it is deliberated to overcome the previous troll vote?

Not deliberately, its the limit of what their server can do. Its not like its has unlimited space and with people know how to F5 and delete their coockies and trace. ha. this poll is dumb

Someone I know said it works just 10 minutes later... Wow... not a very effective fix.

I would say it's somewhat effective since it stops automatic voting programs from working.

It's something along the lines:

As it was indicated in the guidelines, voting is allowed only once per day.
If you want to vote again, please come back tomorrow.

It must somehow remember the IP address, because changing email or browser (with separate cookies) does not helps.
But it definitely works again after few minutes.. are they erasing the IP?
