HxH has a lot of fans and regardless of the author's intentional or unavoidable breaks. Anyway, the next volume also seems to be ready, considering that we are guaranteed to get around 10 chapters non-stop.
Onto the chapter, I have really high expectations for the fights to finish this arc. At least two of the fights are guaranteed to satisfy our expectations. First, Gon and Killua's fight. We haven't fully seen Gon's and Killua's development yet. Against Nefelpitou, we will see that. Secondly, Netero and unknown powerful guy against the King. I don't know but, maybe Killua's grandpa and Netero would form a great elderly duo. There is also Morau. I doubt he will fight only against one guard. That cheetah might also join the fight against him as a payback. But, that means, he will mostly be gone at the end of his fight. |

(Bit late but...) Woohoo!
It's been so long I've forgotten most of the important stuff but can't wait to see who is with Netero. edit: oh yeah just seen the spoiler pic from 263, I guess it's clear who is with Netero. Spoiler for Spoiler pic from 263:

That match up was the most rational one. The possibility that the ones who fight the King are going to die is very high. And, it would be better for those two legends fight him than Gon's father and Netero fighting. We haven't seen the limit of Killua's grandfather, and how those two, possibly old friends, work together. They will steal the spotlight from the young ones...
Also, I wonder how much he gets paid for that job. I guess, he will comment on that at some point. Another thing is whether he is aware of the fact that his grandson, the one who is expected to continue the family work at some point, will also join the fight. And, if that is the case, will the family send someone as backup to monitor the situation, and act if necessary... |

The drawing is awful (I have not seen the redrawn volumes though). The plot is not very good but it has his good points (the king is indeed awesome even if his design his terrible) and it will be interesting to see how the situation is resolved. What's to come should be better than what happened.
There is a lot of random stuff though. (like the Genei Ryodan appearing out of the blue and kicking the shit out of some filler villain) or that one guy whose father was an alcoholic and who seemed important for like 2 pages. Last edited by Rahan; 2007-10-18 at 20:47. |

Well, there was one page where I personally preferred chapter quality. The one with Netero and the eagle.
The doodle made it look rougher and more badass. Spoiler for Jump:
Spoiler for Tankou:
But for most parts, it really feels like Togashi's beyond weekly releases now if he wants to chuck out HxH in its best. Thankfully, (( or not )) Togashi's got so much leverage he can do stuff like this (( doodles, breaks, etc )) and still keep HxH in Weekly Jump.
