Wow, where did that come from? Seem to be a few obvious errors in there, but it a pretty good attempt at an overview of CAD use.

Exactly my point, its a bad comparison. Completely different sources, completely different skill with the adaptations, different mediums there adapted too.Anyways, I agree with what Ultragunner said in his/her post, if they had focused on that, it would have Mahouka overall much more enjoyable to watch.

Apparently, they have Yoko Hikasa voicing Lina instead of the Taketatsu that i wanted in the mahouka psv game

, oh well, all the recent girls that she voiced: Rias (DxD), Erica (Campione) or even Mio (K-On) do have somewhat tsundere-tendency

Lina looks so similar to Saber of Fate/Stay Night that I keep subconsciously imagining her dialogue with Saber's voice.

Anyone know which volume I should start if I just watched the anime?I really don't want to start from vol 1.Do I miss a lot if I didn't start from vol 1?

The anime ends at vol 7 but it's better to start at beginning because they skipped a lot of details from the LNs.

Volume 5 is where you should start actually, since the anime skipped it and it has very important developments. But yeah, the characters will make more sense if you start from the beginning.
