It's not fine by me. I prefer manga over this. They could use black bars on this and release without censorship on BD, but since they censored it on Gate way (any way not to show wounds etc) they will leave it as it is on TV version.

The manga cut out majority of the content... pretty much only 10-20% of the scenes and lines made it into the manga of the first arc.

So you think depiction of the intestines are more important than say, 80-90% of the entire content?

Because the anime has done a much better job of adapting the first arc so far than the manga's insanely rushed adaptation.

EDIT: Eh, damn. I just realized I'm actually missing the manga volume that adapted arc 1. They reset the volume count for the second arc.
Nevermind what I said, now I have to go hunt down the first volume.

No need, I bought the books in Japan without realizing I only got volume 1 and 2 for the second arc.

So I just got a digest chapter for the first book.

I actually liked both presentations. Sure in the manga, the gut was shown which signifies on Elsa's nickname as her preferred death to her target but the way the anime presents the characters are and its surrounding is a bit better than the manga.

It's pretty much just between two girls though, the third girl is more of a sibling-partner-family love bonding.
He's most definitely in love with the two girls, and has expressed his feelings to both.

I think so, and there's a maid too (I don't know if it's the blue haired or the red haired...it's too easy to mess up, I think her name is Lem or Lam).

Does the novel ever explain why and how Subaru's even in the fantasy world in the first place?

I thought you had to either go through a portal, a summoning spell or be killed by a speeding truck to get to the fantasy world in the 1st place. Instead, he just appears there.

Yes she does and looping wouldn't stop her from coming back anyway because the story still progresses.

Not really. Each of the loops are unique and that he has to find the best way to solve it, while coping with the psychological trauma of death as well as some other unexpected elements. It's heart wrenching and extremely enjoyable at the same time imo
