This episode felt a bit underwhelming to me...probably didnt help that I just saw Edge of Tomorrow right before it
They didnt really show Miyuki's anger or her jumping from the copter nor the whole hostage scene, plus I imagined Tat's taking off to be like Eric's from True Blood lol

If I may be nit-picky I'd say he doesn't Slaughter, but Eradicates or Obliterates would be more apropriate terms...

Anyway, hoping they at least properly portray his God-like OP-ness in the last episode

No Suzune kidnap attempt (the event that will tell us the real reason of the invasion), no Tatami flip.

This is what you get from squeezing so many events in one episode. They basically cut 90% of the story and gives us some BL moment between Ichijo & George (honestly, they gave too much time for Ichijo who is basically a nobody in the later volumes), and characters running around without reason in a rushed pace.

This is probably the worst episode so far.

Is their Any Hope for him to have a love interest since the manga and novel are still ongoing? Is their a chance for him to get his emotions or feelings back?

Yes, it was hinted in one of the last volumes too.

It is.
There is not stated that he is able to use his "magic interference" to block the "anti-magic interfernece" bullets.

I used to imagine he just runs and guns.

Besides the physical barrier that any normal magician should be able to use and that they skipped most of his battles against the terrorists there is nothing really different.

I don't remember any specifics, but the novel did say he cut through enemy forces alone to reach the magic association defenders. When Juumonji did so in the jeep he had, his group was riddled with fire. So I must assume Masaki's defense was just as good at shielding him from bullets and missiles while he cut through them with rupture.

The novel also stated he was leading the group of magician and non-magician volunteers, and also defending them from the front. And forced the enemy to hide among civilians, pull back all their vehicles and mechs and only use magic, since he was ravaging their forces with rupture.

He was pretty awesome in the novel and much like Kazama described - a one man army.

And juumonji increased the armoured jeep's exterior defenses as its not enough using his own shield enveloping the entire jeep itself.
