Oh man, Nika totally was the poor girl with no connections who ended up being the only one to stay in jail. The Harem seem like the rich white girls who always get off scot free (even though they were also from Earth and got arrested but had an influential man backing them) .

I saw a theory on Tumblr that the data storm characters without permet marks were just figments of Prospera/El5n's mind, instead of them being actual souls in the afterlife.

Thinking about it more, I think the permet network/data storm act as a digital afterlife (aka a scifi version of what happens when you die to all your stuff on the Internet). There is enough data in there to coalesce it into a recreation of a living person with the right nudge (aka Suletta's magical powers).

Those with more data uploaded into the network, like El4n and Eri, have more control/freedom once coalesced.

And then you get stuck with the Ship of Theseus paradox.

But being indifferent towards the world, meant she wouldn't mind at all to manipulate and cause harm to people and to the peace if she reaches her goal. which made her, action wise, do many evil deeds toward the world and others.

1.) Since when did Prospera have enough of a connection to the Data Storm for her legs becoming useless. When was this hinted? I would understand if she was going brain dead because we saw the marking on her face, but why her legs? Why not the rest of her body? Why doesn't she get the GUND-implants while Petra does?

2.) Godoy killed inspector Feng trying to shoot Belmeria. Did he not get tried and arrested for that? Why was he even following Prospera? Even Olcott got more depth and he was a literal terrorist.

3.) Why was Nika the only one who went to jail when Shaddiq's harem managed to get pardoned? She didn't do anything when they outright kidnapped Sarius and tried to fight people.

4.) The Peil Hags got away with being knocked down to civilian life, but what about all those Enhanced Humans they killed in testing? Don't they deserve justice?

5.) Why on Earth did the Peil Hags turn on the Benerit Group when their assets were still owned by the Group? What did you think would happen?

6.) Did Delling ever pay for the slaughter of Vanadis? Like the dude might have chilled out now, but that blood is on his hands and orders.

I guess you could assume that Nika would refuse a pardon and a chance to avoid jail time because she felt guilty for her part in everything, even though she arguably had the least to feel guilty about or to go to prison for.

Honestly there's a lot about Prospera and Delling we don't really know about now. The fact that Prospera never confronted anyone involved in the Vanadis massacre is a bit surprising. They really just kind of sweeped it under the rug after the people who died talked to Elnora

Because as terrible as it is, Miorine made a deal with Shaddiq so he would take the blame and traded it for implementing his stupid plan to divest the whole group to Earth shareholders. He quite obviously asked for the Harem Squad to get pardoned as part of the deal, and they rewarded Miorine with their loyalty as her bodyguards.

Nika didn't get a deal, and nobody negotiated one for her. I doubt she would have taken it anyway. She was big on taking responsibility and atoning for her prior actions, much like Belmeria.

The final "battle" (or final mobile suit action as there is no battle) is almost a complete rehash of unicorn (actually it has been following unicorn intensively since the entrance of calibarn). If you haven't seen unicorn, this ending action may give you a wow factor.

But it has reached the point that, will the producer of this show feel uneasy if they meet the staff from unicorn?

Like a lot of ppl have said, this is not a bad show. So many questions unanswered tho. And SAL got to be the most incompetent bad guy as they can't do anything afterward. Guess this show is really realistic in showing that money is king XD. Even you got a doomsday weapon, you still have to obey to where the money is as most rich and corrupted authorities want status quo

The reason SAL couldn't do anything after is because Shaddiq gave them up during the trade with Mio. Miorinne made it all public that SAL was in the background cooperating with Shaddiq in bringing Benerit down and was involved with the terrorists that killed spacians.

Not so much follow the money. Just their actions were exposed. As Miorinne stated, take away their motivation for the intervention into Benerit.

I have a theory or 2 they may be long though my apologies.

Spoiler:

1) I think the majority of her body was using GUND format as the replacement for her nervous system, while at the same time she had to increase the amount of GUND format in her brain to allow for her to interact with Eri, the problem is that the increased amount of GUND format started causing Data Storm interference while if she had the normal amount required Dats Storm interference would not occur. Data Storm infection I would then guess is similar to permanent brain damage and interferes with connection between the brain and GUND format and as the infection progresses the prosthetics slowly stop functioning with the growing infection(interference) from the prosthetics that are furthest away.

Petra on the other is going to receive implants that are not extensive enough to cause Data Storm infection and I guess Vanadis had already created safety guidelines for non mobile suit GUND format

It wasn't hinted at all and considering how she was able to move in previous episodes I really have no clue.

3) and 4) are just our current reality money can buy anything even escaping crimes against humanity, while if you don't have it you pay the price.

5) they were banking on Miorine being utterly incompetent or they had a basic understanding of her personality and not realizing that she controlled everything.

6) currently an inquest into everything is happening as shown on the TV towards the end of the episode, in this case I doubt money can save them.

7) Delling is responsible for Vanadis event if suddenly a Gundam appears and he ignores it who wouldn't have suspicions that something is up. Remember everyone in Benerit that matters is watching the academy because of Miorine marriage thing. His daughter in the end is what saved his plans because she had fallen in love with Suletta.

8), 9) and 10) no clue I guess the manga might mention it or a future manga/novel will fill in the gaps (which is so irritating) but Shaddiq's little confession of their crimes would have likely caused the collapse of SAL and Ochs Earth would follow suit.

10) She died in an accident like earlier mentioned if my memory serves however I guess she was also worried about if or how her dream could be abused so she hid a way to stop Quiet Zero.

But man is the guy who wrote Unicorn one of the main staff for WfM?

Well at least Suletta didn't pull a Banagher Links and actually suffered from the curse of Gundam and it was a decent happy ending for most.

I feel like level 9 is the limit for the material. You get a temporary "god mode" then everything at that current level brakes down to dust, the material has too much energy in it that it can't hold form

It was clear that the ending was going to be rushed but Permit being able to dissolve matter and even dissolve the Gundams was something that I didn't see coming. Almost put New type magic to shame.

In the end the main cast pretty much got a happy ending and Prospera even more or less got what she wanted. Didn't expect Shaddiq to take the fall for her too, but he did and the only other punishment's dealt out was Nikka spending 3 years in jail. It's sort of weird she got punished while Shaddiq's harem got away with it all, but whatever.

In the WFM was clearly meant to be more charater focused than anything else and it did give me something to look forward to watching on Sundays. That's not to say it did not have more than it's fair share of problems, most of which become clear in the second season.

3/10 - I would put this show very low on my favorite mecha list, right next to Kyokai Senki, Macross Delta and Aquarion Evol, because each one of those were so bad they felt like a waste of time by the last episode.
