I'm guessing you mean "don't start" aye.... such fansubber behavior as you describe doesn't even make rational sense. I do consider it common courtesy to keep people posted on the status even if its "alligators winning, more reports as warranted". People should visit a group's website for news instead of whining here though because Ryoumi is pretty good about posting status comparatively. As of May 3rd, Ryoumi is:

It's not like they've got a giant office building full of people working full
time to sub these projects - they're people with lives and school and jobs and wives and kids and .... well, maybe not some of the aforementioned but they're not necessarily fully devoted to that particular project. Until they say "our computer blew up and we decided we didn't know japanese" anymore it's down to patience.

I checked at their site awhile back. They quit at first because some other shows had higher priority and people were requesting them. Then later they just never really started it up. They said its not dropped, but it is stalled and they really don't know when they will pick it up, as they are swamped with more shows and some people quit.

Well... to my knowledge, C1 has finished every series they've started. If Ryo is in disarray, I'm now concerned about another series they were working on that I won't mention here for the usual reasons.
EDIT:The Ryoumi forum is temporarily down for maintenance but the News section says nothing in regard to things. The IRC channel title says Toki 14,15 and then Ryoumi is no more.... will lurk to see if someone is playing around or not. It also says the team is separating into two groups to do the sorts of things they want. So it doesn't mean their projects are abandoned... but there may be delays while they each restaff.

I went to C1's forum and Tokimeki is the hottest topic. They have said several times that they have not dropped the show, just that the people who worked on it had some difficulties but if all goes well they can start tokimeki again this week. I have not given up faith on C1. They said unless they announce they dropped it, they havn't and they are still working on it.

aye... I'm not so worried about Tokimeki, I'm actually more concerned about another series Ryoumi was working on that no one else was handling.

Well the founder of C1 just said they are working on 16 and they should get the show running soon. Yay! |
