Well, the statue seems to be a conjuration. However due to his nature it feels like he himself is an enhancer, and he's just that good. But I might be wrong. It could also be emission, now that I think about it. But I think I am correct about how he himself is an enhancer.

Still with the elections arc. I'm kinda surprised in retrospect how nen is handled in this arc considering it was so mysterious even in the Hunter Exam. I think all of Killua's butlers know all the basics and even some ridiculous powers like the "elder bike". Gotoh also uses his game as a hatsu or something involving bullet coins.

That's because Togashi hadn't come up with Nen yet back in the Hunter exam. This leads to some inconsistencies mainly with Killua's family.

The only really glaring one is Killua knowing about Dragon Dive despite not having seen his grandfather since learning Nen.

And finished. I think the election is my least favorite arc cos of the politics that never end. Pariston is fun but the rest are always pissed off. The two scenes involving the father and son reunions were fun and a good point to end the story but it's insane how Ging says that the chimeras are basically aliens that invaded the fake world map.

It's a shame Togashi's health deteriorated cos the manga kept getting closer to another Kurapika vs Spider. If I recall, in one old interview said he thought of killing both Kurapika and the Spider with the latter starting to happen once Hisoka lost to Chrollo. Also, the Chimera arc made a lot of heavy emphasis on Gyro

I got into it and Togashi started teasing the manga's return apparently chapter 405+.

Wonder if we'll see the fated Kurapika vs Chrollo fight Togashi mentioned in 2013.

Togahi said he might as well kill both Kurapika and the Spider. Then again, it feels Kurapika could easily be outnumbered and Chrollo might as well personally kill him since in the latest flashback the guy was portrayed as if he loved Paku in his childhood.

Pretty sure Chrollo and the Spiders are done for, because they don't only have to face Kurapica but also Hisoka. I don't think they're gonna survive this arc. Mind you, Kurapica might die too, but definitely not without taking Chrollo with him.

The thing is what could Gon do now that he accomplished his mission? I know he had a lot of screentime with Killua but the way they split felt kinda sudden

It might sound like a reverse switch but Ging currently has an actual story to go through considering he is involved. We had a lot of build up with the Spider for some reason though too in the latest chapters.

Killua was only tagging along with Gon because he didn't want to go home and had nothing else to do. Now Killua found his reason to act (Alluka and Nanika) and Killua needs to take some time to figure out who that person is.

It's not for some reason. Both Kurapika and the Spider are here to be foils to the Hei-Ly.

Gyro sure sounded strange in the narration like is he going to be a villain replacing the King Meruem? Still, the recent Spider flashbacks sure turned Chrollo into some sort of foil to Kurapika so a match between the two would be kinda awesome. Still, Chrollo faced Killua's family all alone so I think he would be stronger than Kurapika especially after Hisoka made that comment that Chrollo kept copying a lot of nen abilities before their showdown

Meruem wasn't really a villain.

Gyro on the other hand, is someone who was badly mistreated by his father, lost his faith in humanity and made it his mission in life to spread evil. Now that he isn't even biologically human anymore, he's likely going to end up the worse monster in the series.

At this point I can't say whether or not Chrollo will end up fighting Hisoka, Kurapika or both. That said, this arc will likely end with either one of them (most likely Chrollo) or both of them dead.

I mean, Kurapika's Hatsu is designed specifically to kill Spiders but it's lost it's surprise factor now so it could go either way depending on the situation
