I've read some. This is not romantic. This is about two people that inspire each other with very different styles/backgrounds/approaches with a third person in the mix who is anti-ambition/chance/goals. Maybe the closest comparison would be the two leads in Smile Down The Runway, except this is a better duo.

A non-romantic scenario with adults that is the anti of the 'young people being idealistic about professions' glut while still having people dare to aspire? And rather learning to deal with adult life within normal means and being better from it?

I only know the word 'southpaw' in a boxing context, so I was expecting a boxing anime!

The plot summary for this seems more my kind of thing though.
