Genshin and Ufotable? Wow .

I know it's just a concept trailer, but I wonder if the fact that they have both protagonists in there means anything...

At last I can see how vast Teyvat is, compared to its severely downsized game version.

Mihoyo: we want you to create an anime for our flagship game, Genshin Impact.

Ufotable: well, we are hard at work on Kimetsu no Yaiba right now, as well as a few side projects, I don't think we have time to---

*bags of money drop on the table*

Ufotable:.... and when would you like us to create this anime?

I don't play the game, I just wanted to make this terrible dialogue post =0v...

If those big fishes are paying for the awesome animation quality, providing jobs/experience/training to artists to generate productively that quality, then I'm all in.

This long? Even FGO had to wait until the conclusion of Part 1 and being well into part 2 to get an animated series.

Well since I don't expect that I'll ever actually play Genshin this seems like a good way to get a feel for things regarding it. Could be fun and certainly the visuals will be good.

Despite not using it, I'm more worried for the English VAs getting screwed.

Never played Genshin Impact due to my aversion for gacha. Are yhe story and the characters interesting enough to make a good anime? If so, I might watch it.
