Question IRC nickname registering problem

ife been trying for thousands of time to register my nickname and everytime i get this message

-NickServ- Please try again with a more obscure password. Passwords should be at least five characters long, should not be something easily guessed (e.g. your real name or your nick), and cannot contain the space or tab characters.

eventhough ife used to most simple passwords such as my nickname and real name

how does this all work without me getting this message all the time

also i have registered one of my nicknames but i have forgotten the password, i got the a command called recover but it was denied, i tried to destroy the user with another command but i said i cant delete myself
thats messed up

okay after that i tried another nickname, would be easy i thought
my nickname would be karuma2 *cough*

i registered it that went welleven with the password part

i got this -> *NickServ* REGISTER karuma2 (and my pw)

okay then i logged in on it

i got the other right message that it worked

i go back to the channel im on, you had to register your nickname to be able to download anything from it, so i try to command the bot for a list

then allt he sudden i get a message that i have to register my nick to be able to do it, okay no probs i just done it so i gues all i had to do was log in

an thats where it starts, i tried to log in with my nick, all the sudden its not registered anymore, i try to register it yet again, but now all the possible passwords i enter to subscribe my nickname to get this message

-NickServ- Please try again with a more obscure password. Passwords should be at least five characters long, should not be something easily guessed (e.g. your real name or your nick), and cannot contain the space or tab characters.

did anyone else have a hard time with this or is it just me bing stupid

could someone tell me what to do, to do it right?

dit : and yes my pw's were longer then 5 characters :P

This means your password is failing a quick dictionary or a hybrid dictionary attack. Throw a few numbers or some punctuation in the middle of it.

No... the error message says the password MUST NOT be simple.

Also, just for your information: this is an IRC server / services question ... it is not an issue with mIRC, though lots of people make that mistake because mIRC is ubiquitous . I've renamed your thread.

You may want to contact the IRC administrators what whichever server you're receiving these problems on. It's possible that one of their services is messing up and will reject any password you request.

btw: how can you make mIRC log in for you automatically, so you don't need to type your password each time?

Use the "perform" feature (check help for more detailed information).
Quick Overview:
Select View > Options from the menu and navigate to the "Connect \ Options" page.
On there click the [Perform...] button to bring up the "Perform" settings window.
Tick the enable check box and select your network from the drop-down list.
Then just add the commands you want mIRC to run each time you connect to that network...
i.e. whatever you need to type to send a log in message to NickServ (with your password) on that network.
Note: This will store your password in one of the mIRC settings files in plain text (viewable by anyone who has access to the files).
This is not very secure (unless you are the only person who ever goes near your computer). You've been warned.

That's usually
/msg NickServ identify yourpassword

Of course, other IRC networks might be different. A
/msg NickServ help
might help.

I register my nickname with the following command:
/nickserv register <password> <mail>

However, instead I get another message that tells I need an ISP provided e-mail address.

What's an ISP e-mail address? and how do I get one?

An email address from your internet service provider, not a free online email address, like google mail. I've never had a problem with using a yahoo address for registering a nick, though it varies from server to server.
