I liked the spot with her sister relative to my earlier speculations. In one episode she's gone from possibly "marking" his "lap" as her property to openly declaring that she won't hand his *embarrassed mumble* over. From feline instinct to open statement of ownership in the space of a day.
I also rather liked Koneko's response to the cosplay incident. I'd expected her to reflexively react the way she always had before, reprimanding him for being a perv and displaying some remnants of tsun; I was even looking forward to it, with maybe a small dash of dere embarrassment at the end. Even though she didn't go along with the scenario I'd been hoping for, the response she gave again reinforced my feelings about her new image: a little quick to change, to the point that I might want to complain of whiplash, but she's so adorable now that it doesn't even matter. |

Episode 7. The Night Before the Battle
Guess, it settles the highlight of the episode was Rias and Akeno duking it out at each other for Isseis' affections while delivering him a deserved service.
If you ask for my opinion, Rias dressed in traditional, carnival-esque devil attire suited her. As for the rest of the episode itself, good thing we got more development focusing on Issei living to his convictions to protect Asia at all costs. Though I would've liked if the anime invested a little more time setting up Diodora's two-timing betrayal, and exploring his shady deals with the old demon faction. Once more, Asia gets kidnapped, but a good calling from Asia for slapping that bastard Diodora over throwing insults at Issei. Last edited by Guido; 2015-08-08 at 12:02. |
