I just realized it now but the sense of adventure and exploration is strong in this episode (and the series in general). Plus, the rather-cheerful mood/atmosphere (almost a complete opposite from Gundam 00) and some characters' antics makes me feel like I'm watching a Ghibli-version of Gundam (but with Tomino's fast-pace style).

Oh, and the fight is not too shabby this episode. Glad to see G-Arcane & Aida actually achieve something in the battle

Ditto... One thing I really enjoy so far is the various exotic and unique looking locales that the show has featured so far. Definitely stands out amongst the typical muddy and industrial looking sci-fi settings that mecha anime go for these days.

I don't see why not... IMO him going away is just an excuse so the Montero can get destroyed and he can upgrade to a new MS.

This is what I really like about this series.

It's a breath of fresh air from all the seriousness the Gundam series are known to be.

Though this may also be the reason why a lot has already dropped this, since in their opinion, it's not like the Gundam standards.

that scene of Mask skydiving from his trashed MS onto the F-rug while getting swatted by the G-Self's rifle in the process had me laughing, is he even wearing a parachute just in case? unless he does wear one but hidden in his pilot suit considering how compact the technology in this era is

She's Black-Australian-Japanese, and her name's Michelle Yumiko Payne. She's australian, so her english is pretty good yes.

Well, what a surprise there... Too bad that Steer's dialogue is sometimes random for me.
