The friendship power was strong with chapter 10. Yuuki's nakama power overwhelmed Kaila's lust for revenge. Just goes to show, nothing trumps nakama power in shonen...
Even with an incomplete suit, sub-par weapons & psychological warfare (Using his childhood memories against him), he still overcomes the adversity of certain defeat to pull off the win.

This time, the weapons were purposefully inferior & he wasn't even given the opportunity to utilize the terrain. From the looks of it, he didn't even have any intention of using the terrain. I'm not whining about how or why he won, I'm just a bit of a realist & seeing something like that irks me a bit. If you go through the earlier posts in this thread, I've made it pretty clear that the battle between him & Reiji/Sei was bullshit because if he could overcome handicaps like these in the first place, then why the hell did he lose to them? Imo, this manga throws salt on the loss he suffered in the anime. It actually doesn't help by giving him backstory.

You know, reading this manga got me thinking: Yuuki got exactly what he wanted. He mentions wanting to become like his idol, Takeshi, the 2nd place in the 2nd tournament who went on to promote Gunpla. Where is Yuuki at the end of the series? 2nd place in the 7th tournament who is now promoting Gunpla. May we see Gunpla Interpol Yuuki in GBF Try?

Tbh, I'm hoping he's at least won a world tournament or two by the time Try rolls in. Its seven years between the original & Try, he's got seven chances to beat Sei by then.
He had better won a tournament because if he didn't, Sunrise is going to get some hatemail from yours truly. lol Jk, but I'm seriously gonna be pissed though.

Honestly, I want to see Fellini win at least one World Tourney.
Or see The King of Kaiser make a come back. The hype should become a reality, especially when Nils considered Carlos as his biggest obstacle. Last edited by Yesman; 2014-08-14 at 06:50. |

Actually thats about 1/144 scale
Yeah the Gadalaza is that huge And how fucking long did it take that builder to make that monster? The amount of time, plastic, and paint is mind-blowing Props to him though for the perseverance and guts to make it and every single Fang xD |

I never realized Gadalaza is that huge (and he carried it just like that) until I saw that panel. |
