can sumone plez help me with a lil' problem i have? ive downloaded a couple anime's that won't play correctly. [example]-the audio plays fine, but the picture will studder or skip through out the whole show. is it because its a bad file or do i need another sum kinda "codec" to view this one correctly? i downloaded "Kimi ga Nozomu Eien 4" by anime-keep this is one of them that does this. i would appreciate any suggestions, thanks.

How fast is your processor? Try VideoLan if it's slow compared to the new models.

Two suggestions. One is to try Media Player 6.4, it's already on your system so you just need to know how to use it.

Start Menu -> Run -> type mplayer2

The second suggestion is a just a little bit more complicated, but well worth the effort.

Uninstall all your codecs. Trust me. All of them:
Uninstall DivX.
Uninstall XviD.
Uninstall ffdshow.
Especially uninstall any Codec packs, They are Evil!

Download and install ffdshow. You'll find it listed on the Media Configuration Guide.

i downloaded "ffdshow" and it werked!! it was the first off a list of crap to download, and it WERK! WOO HOO!, thanks alot for the help...

so is anyone has the same problem download "ffdshow.exe" it will do the trick. ^_^
