Finally got Hyouka key animation 1st book. Pretty nice book (same quality as the K-ON books) but as usual it lacks of annotations, commentaries or timesheet.
So it covers cuts from the first 11 episodes with a storyboard sample and a screenshot which match the cut. There're also OP & ED frames and complete storyboards. I took quickly some pictures : Bonus :

Second key animation book received : similar to the 1st one without surprise.
However I'm kinda disappointed with the choice of cuts since I expected specific cuts of episodes 14 & 21 or more close-ups from Rika Ota's episode 20. At least we have Taichi Ishidate's break dance

BDs set
After a long time of make up my mind and saving up, I ordered the whole set of Hyouka BDs and pick them up while I was on the trip to Japan.
(Some discs are missing from the picture because amazon jp didn't send it on time so they're with my friend for now.) These are the very first Japanese BDs I bought. I like what I get but damn, they really are expensive. I fear the day that the boxset release come out (which is certainly coming I believe), but I decided I like the show enough to get these. Also got some Hyouka goodies when I went to the KyoAni shop in Kyoto, but already made a post about that (http://forums.animesuki.com/showthre...82#post4800382) so I won't repeat it. |
