Yes it's possible but not recommended.

You will need to install the MKV full pack.
When you run the mkv file, look at your taskbar - a "green arrow" will appear. right click and select the streams (audio/subtitle) you want.

yes it is possible...as animeoni has said..
by the way..in case u dont know:
mkv = matroska video
just get the codec...but i just recommend getting vlc media player..its interface isnt pretty but its simple..and it plays everything...
