1) Do you live outside the US?
2) Get a build together and we'll critique it. It's easier for us that way and you can learn a few things about hardware.

If you have enough money, I suggest investing money in a Core i7 rig... since you already have the hard drives.

Although the Core i7 920 is clocked lower than the Core 2 Quad you chose, the hyperthreading and improvements over the Core 2 Quad and it will be more worthwhile, especially if you do alot of encoding, gaming, or anything intensive.

Here is the link to Intel Core i7 920 Nehalem 2.66GHz... if you are interested.

With a good mobo you should be able to run a good computer, most i7 mobos can fit with the newer i5 processors coming next year. They are phasing out the Core 2 Quads somewhere soon, so i7 is a worthy for longer term use.

For a graphics card, I would visit cyberpowerpc, they have really good graphic cards at affordable prices.

Radeon 4770 is comparable to a Geforce 9800 or even faster for the same price for a Geforce 9800.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814103077

If you prefer nvidia, Geforce 9800 GT can play most of the newer games at high quality settings. Both cards shouldn't run more than $140

There is also Geforce 250 GTS (near equivalent of Radeon 4850) which starts at 119$.

Geforce 88xx series is obsolete and the 9800 will perform better at the same price.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130435

This is a 9800 GT and you can get that as the same price as the 8800 GTS and will be faster than it since it's a newer generation

nVidia has been very very lazy in the last few generations. The 9800 GT is actually just a rebagged 8800 GT and the GTS 250 is a 8800 GTS 512 rebag. But all things considered, here is a GTS 250 for 100, which is faster than the 9800 GT

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...50GTS-2D512-OC

Or a 4850 for $95 after MIR which is on par with a GTS 250.

Second that, just because it's "newer" and its a 9 series rather than an 8 doesnt ALWAYS mean it's better. Why not spend an extra 30 to 50 bucks (compared to a 9800 or a 8800GTS) to get a 4870 or a 260GTX or even a 275.

Like this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814150394

Its rated a 7.0 on Windows 7, while the 8800 GTS is about a 6.3 (roughly) to give you a performance ratio.
