yes, subtitle timings are way off

for the record, it isn't your codecs because these are hardsubs

Spoiler for near the end...: Near the end of the episode Hiro asked Shouko "why did she choose this town" and Shouko replied "what about you". Why did she choose this town? We know Hiro choose this town because he had to take care of her so call sister but what about Shouko? I thought Shouko dumped her so did she come back to chase Hiro?
