Speaking of which, what's up with Wonderwice? He's a "hougyoku-ed" arrancar (temporary full-strength hougyoku according to Aizen) and the guy clearly rides the short bus through the garganta. Urahara flicked him away like a fly, so I doubt he has any idiot-savant powers that are yet to be discovered. Even if he wasn't a Menos-class hollow, shouldn't the hougyoku have made him at least as powerful as the current Espada (and just as intelligent)?

Urahara only pushed Wonderwise away a little with his attack from benihime. He was fairly small with humanoid form when Aizen woke him, so he may very well be a Vastlord arrancar. But since he was already wrapped up and all, we can't really tell because it might just mean he already had his mask removed and became an arrancar. Based on SS's report when they went to the real world though, he does have a power level that is somewhere around the espada level.

adevilinthedark Bankai Master Join Date: May 2007	[MANGA] Becoming Arrancar Spoiler for Arrancar general: Acording to the official records, hollows who become Arrancar without the hogyoku still wont be that strong, as seen with Grand Fisher. So if that is really true, how did Nell, or even Nnoitra become such strong arrancar? Nnoitra says that it had been many, many years since he betrayed Nell, and it certainly hasn't been that long since Aizen got the hogyoku. This is confusing me greatly. Any ideas? EvolutionXI Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2006	Spoiler for For manga info: Grand Fisher wasn't even a menos class hollow, whereas Nnoitora (and probably Nell too) were at least adjuchas (possibly vast lords but doubtful), so there would naturally be a large strength difference between Nell/Nnoitora and GF. Iceringer and D-roy were the ones performing/overseeing GF's arrancarization too, and they don't exactly seem like experts at stuff like that, which may be why GF turned out to be an incomplete arrancar.
