FMP - Merchandise (Figurines, Artbooks, OSTs, etc.)
Thread dedicated to Full Metal Panic related merchandise - including... art books, figurines, games, manga, plushies, CDs, OSTs, DVDs, etc., or if you know where you can find such items, then please post here.
__________________ For music related items, please check the following sites: http://www.cdjapan.co.jpIf you can read Japanese, then you can also try: http://www.amazon.co.jp__________________ Please Note: This thread is for official merchandise only, no bootlegs or cheap illegal imitations! As im a FMP nut, i wanted to get merchandise apart from the usual DVDs, Manga, posters and wallscrolls... so stuff like figures, model kits, trading cards, etc. As lot of this stuff is only avaliable in Japan, i was wondering if anyone knows any import channels with cheap shipping or anywhere in UK that sells that sort of stuff? thanks Last edited by xris; 2007-07-05 at 17:26. CDjapan stocks some of the limited edition DVDs which come with merchendise. If you're after the ladies of FMP, I think most otaku websites have the full set of slightly kinky Hot Springs figurines- that's Tessa, Kaname, Kyouko... um, that girl who tried to date Souske, and I think one other, and it isn't Mao.
http://www.justmanga.com/showprod.cf...=FMPANICHOTFIG Here's a link, image isn't clear, I think the girl I don't recall too clearly was in Fumoffu. There's a couple more around of Tessa changing with variation in the colour of the underwear. http://202.234.167.56/detailview.html?KEY=NEOSL-10945# links to a Tessa towel. eBay has the figures from time to time, and J-List often has Tessa changing. I know in 2003 there was a calendar. Does anywhere sell those any more? Did they bring out a TSR one this year? *~Pips~* |

It's sad that these action figures are randomly packed. It's like a TCG booster pack, comes sorted with all kinds of stuff. You might or not get what you want.
There're very few Garage Kits and Models for FMP, who knows why, though, I think it would sell like hell. There're a few rather Ecchi garage kits around, like Tessa posing in her underwear or in a swimsuit, carrying a C90 sub-machine gun. (Which isn't really that suitable for Tessa, I might add =p). I'll probably get the Swimsuit version very soon, though. http://www.kicks-hobby.com/component...hop/Itemid,62/ It's there for your heart's content. The only place I've found to find the models of the Mechas separately from the `Booster pack` type is Ebay, and they go for sell rather expensively. It also goes on for those bath-scene booster thingies. (They aren't very good though. Also a reason why I'm not buying it :|). And OMFG I need that towel. Quote:

Well she is... bleh, pic:
Ecchi picture, beware of extreme cuteness. http://www.kicks-hobby.com/component...78232717f2.jpg You can actually dress her up with skirt, though.

I wish they had more large scale figures....
Not counting gaspeaon (sorry, I bucthered the spelling), you cant find any Sousuke, Kurz or Mao figures. As for Tessa and Kaname, there are a limited few (2 of each I believe, from Good Smile and Dragon Heroine) and they involve them either in a bikini or lingerie. I would love to be able to get larger figures with them in their normal clothes... Why such a shortage? |

This is the DVD with the Souske figure. No better pictures, and it's 7,800 yen, but it's the only one I've ever seen. The other special edition DVDs have the other characters. *~Pips~* |

Nice, but expensive. It is a shame they don't make some more readibly available figures that are a bit more affordable. It surprises me makers arn't jumping on this francise. Hell, I can see a Pinky Kaname and Tessa
Seriously, though, what would be really, really, nice is some plushies. Throw me a Bounta-kun stuffed animal for God's sake! |

Yeah, it really sucks. I think that they would make LOTS of money if they did what Bandai does to its Gundam series.
I mean, some characters only get new mobile suits so that they can make a different version of an already-existant version of that mobile suit. (Andrew's Gaia, for example. Or Heine's Gouf.) If they made MG or PG versions of Arbalest, Venom, Codarl, M9's, M6's, and stuff.. Man they'd profit a lot, i'm pretty sure. The AS's are VERY good Mecha examples, I find Arbalest even more owning in design than Freedom/Justice, since they look very less mobile than an AS. But again... dreaming's not that bad =\

In my opinion, it is silly with all those female figures in swimsuits and lingerie. I think... *stares at Chidori, brain switching off*
