Spoilers for the end of the LN and WN version of Marie route are over on Reddit. I'm not happy with the latter.

Events go so sideways that Leon dies by Ideal and Luxion decides to just go into permanent sleep mode, leaving Marie alone to pray for a re-do and it starts the main series instead, effectively making it a stealth prequel.
