I got that sort of vibes as well... Really hope it doesn't turn out like Wing.
Not liking the character designs except for that one kid that looks a bit like Renton. It looks like Kenichi Yoshida was told to make Yaoi like character designs for this series. Really liked his work on Overking Gainer and Eureka 7 but here not so much.
