The MC building a team of individuals with unique and valuable skills to prepare for the future problems to come sounds neat. I find this to be an issue with certain works that started out as Narou webnovels; the author decides to make their story an isekai simply to take advantage of it as a super popular genre so it'll be more greatly noticed and picked up by readers.
I even faintly recall some WN author saying in their notes that they only did their story as an isekai because it's what's hot right now.
