I liked how over-the-top that little segment was, but also how no one was asking questions. The show knows what it is and doesn't try to rationalize it  . |
You can see the same person in episode one as well during Teruko's idol performance scene. When it pans back to the other residence watching you can see them off in the dark part of the room/kitchen.
