The first part of
FMA Brotherhood is actually more rushed than
FMA 2003. Brotherhood even skipped some stories from the manga. Thus, Brotherhood will always be deeply flawed for me.
This first S&W episode, however, is very good. If they can keep it up all the way to the end, this might become a better adaptation than Brotherhood.
