I was starting to think there wouldn't be cooking in this episode but it wouldn't Dungeon Meshi otherwise.
I was under the impression Marcille was quite old based on her comment regarding Chilchuck's age and her being an elf, so not sure how to explain she was in the same grade as Falin. I guess she could have just started magical school really late and posed as a younger girl. Or maybe she really is that young.
The whole Undine fight was well animated, and there was some real tension.
