What Yurie could even do? She is just old servant. So far we didn’t see any implication she can fight of bunch of magicians. Plus Myo is adult, she may be pathetic and have zero self-esteem, but pretty even she can be left five minutes alone.
Only actual issue is that she forgot talisman and kidnappers sized that chance and even that's not contrived. With such small object it's inevitable it would soon or later happen.
