Been there, done that, and a lot more, too. These days I'm on an
androgen-blocker. Two shots per year. Cost per shot is over $2,000, but Medicare picks up the tab. Still that's cheaper than the cost of my original
brachytherapy surgery.
(Wonder if the price will fall now that Medicare can negotiate directly with the drug campanies. We'll see.)
