Also, I haven't seen any explicit mention of the US clearing the way for donations of the ATACMS, which is the MLRS/HIMARS' longest-ranged weapon. Because otherwise those vehicles are stuck with the regular, 32-to-150km GMLRS rockets (unknown as to whether Ukraine would balk at using cluster warheads on its own territory).
ATACMS can go up to 300km (the 500km figure quoted by certain news articles refers to the PrSM program, which is not yet in service), which actually makes it a tactical ballistic missile.
