Well, I agree that the show relied a bit too much on making the other three heroes stupid to make Naofumi look good, especially since he was in his edgelord phase during at least half of the first season. Since they presumably are out of the picture for the foreseeable time, it'll be interesting if Naofumi grows a bit without such crutches.
