The problem is that the Adventurers aren't united enough to say "this is our land, and these are our rules, which don't include subservience to People of the Land's bullshit aristocracy".

That'd be asking for a war against the People of the Land, which the Adventurers don't want. If they raise their hands against Eins now, they raise their hands against the aristocracy. Violence isn't the solution.
