Would they? The People of the Land support Eins on the premise he will protect them. But if the other adventurers publicly humiliate him, kill his people and break his stuff, that'll change.

The problem is that the Adventurers aren't united enough to say "this is our land, and these are our rules, which don't include subservience to People of the Land's bullshit aristocracy".
