The Trump Administration has failed to explain adequately why the CDC refused to use the WHO-approved testing kit that the Germans developed with help from the Chinese. The notion that we needed a home-grown test was absurd. I see it as another example of the xenophobic nature of this Administration that distrusts anything from outside the US. I'd be happy to have my opinion changed if the Administration would only report clearly and accurately on why this decision was made. I'm not holding my breath.
