A bit exposure-heavy to my taste, especially given that Misaki's reintroduction is, save for the setting, the exact same as it was in Railgun S, which is a shame. There's tons of things you could do with her character rather than reproduce the exact same situation. Overall, maybe I struggled with this episdoe because I get my immersion easily broken by infodumping. But hey, I'd kinda forgotten it's been seven years since Railgun S, so I guess it was a necessary refresher for some viewers.
Glad to see that the production value of this third season hasn't dropped to the level of a certain
other third season, and boy does this opening has me hyped. Let's see where this season takes us now.
