Not so sure going back would do much good. The act has been done, and by the time the queen got back, set things in order and began figuring out how to fix things the other countries would probably be on the march. At least one would probably decide on war. I mean, Melromarc essentially robbed them of a needed defensive weapon and guaranteed they'd suffer massive damage and casualties over and over again. They may not have sent any soldiers against the countries, but this could easily be seen as an actual attack.
