This whole thing that happened with Issei basically happens all the time with girls anime or not. SPEAK YOUR DAMN MIND. Like i'm 1110% sure even pailingual wouldn't have had an effect girls are THAT tight liped about stuff like this jeez. Ok this is mostly my bias speaking here but come on. The resolution to this is epic don't get me wrong but it's such an annoying cliche. The MC has a head thick as reinforced concrete for the main heroine's thoughts, just plain stupid.
