While Mr. Ushiyama hasn't that talented as Tatsuya (of course it's because Tatsuya ES and magic), he's in his own league about hardware implementation. Don't forget even Tatsuya complimented him that without his contribution, Loop Casting won't be implemented and practically used.
Also after testing flying device, he knows what to do to improve the efficiency and Tatsuya concurred with his assertion.
