i would say after/while the fullbring arc happened, she became a strong woman on her own until her mind got manipulated and she lost all purpose in the story, having uryu, ichigo, chad and orihime deal with the fullbringers would have been a FAR more satisfying ending :/
and than of course the last arc happened which basically killed her character for me
