Karura - Found aboard Na Tunkian slave trading ship. Presumably, seen as to be traded off for money or other goods/favors at another location. Ship sunken during an storm off of what appears to be off the coast of the country of Tusukuru. Believed by some that Karura may have been drugged during transport, as noted to her collapse after the initial killing of the surviving Na Tunkian slave traders.
Her physical strength however, remarkable. With clearly, she could have had control at any time over what was to happen to herself during the transport. Then, leaving only two things to mind.

1. Aboard undercover, only as to discover who the buyer/s may be. To either later detain, kill, extort, and/or gather information.
2. If aboard against her will, as little to nothing could detain her physically, be it the trader and the buyer/s, one would have to detain her mentally in a way, that with her refusal, would bring great harm to something or someone that she cares for.
That with the first, her work probably ended when they wouldn't be able to reach their destination. But with killing the slave traders, may be part of the job, maybe not. Yet with the thought of just letting her drown to death, her killing them probably had an good sweet taste of revenge added to it.
The second, hell, probably thoughts of her own then if what she cared for was even still there or not. But now, that necklace an reminder of that pain. And her will to fight even stronger, as vengeance shines its light with her.
