Spoiler for Cinderella Girls comment, major spoilers:

I loved Cinderella Girls episode 1... and I really wish they had just kept the cast down to the original 3 girls and that hilarious guy that recruited them. If they had done that, I probably would have stuck with the show longer and loved it.

One of the main reasons I like Love Live more than iM@S is cast size - 9 girls is a real sweet spot, imo, which is why I don't fault Sunshine much for keeping to 9 girls. iM@S' cast is a little bigger than I'd like for idol anime, but I really liked the iM@S movie anyway.
