It's interesting to think how opposite Lise & Iris are - the two very important women in Theodor's life right now. One prioritizes the country(or more like the people of the country) over her family, the other doesn't give a damn about the country or anything else besides her sole remaining family member. Lise never wanted to be a family member, actually she wants to be Theo's lover and woman while Theo is the only one who wants to keep her as a sister. What the adaptation did is changing how Theo developed his relationship towards Lise and Iris, on one hand he fucked Iris because he admire her (this was deleted) and on the other hand he fucked Lise just to keep her safe even if that is considered incest.

One big detail in the anime is how the studio changed the reasons why Lise turned into that yandere-imouto and how Axmann managed to turn her into a Stasi dog. Same goes for Beatrix and her main reasons which are basically eliminate everyone in her path just because the people she's now torturing and killing are on the side of the ones who killed his beloved man.

Axmann... well, he's just a sadistic guy who break the will of everyone by torturing and raping people so he can test who's suitable for the job, Lise quialified to that, same goes for Beatrix.

Now regarding to kakurin-san post, what you get wrong is the motivations of Lise to do that so I suggest you to read my previous post where I quote you and if you keep the doubts about it, read the chinese translations.
