He might be The Creator that is said to precede the Gods... considering both Mito and Him were part of the development team of that game before being summoned, which Satou did most of the work. The game might be manifested as reality in another dimension (maybe it has to do with Satou's childhood and the possibly Goddess he met then) thus making Satou akin to a World Creator.
