His "gift" is like that of an immortal, therefore the story will most definitely show it several times throughout in as many possible (and usually painful) ways.
Hmm, so I guess the main girl is aware of his power? He must have kept on rambling like a crazy person every loop then. It is an interesting take on uncontrolled "save points" and it's very negative aspects.
